What we hold, and what we do not.
darzi exists to bring a private craft into a considered space. That trust begins with restraint — we collect only what an order requires, and nothing it does not.
What we collect
When you create an account and request an appointment through the darzi app, we collect the details needed to recognise you and to arrange and honour your visit:
How we use it
Your information is used to arrange your appointment, to let your chosen shop prepare for the visit, and to keep you informed about your order. The shop receives only what it needs to attend you — your name, your general area, and the appointment time. Your full address is held in the app as the record of the booking; it is not shared in messages.
Where it is held
Your account and booking are stored securely with Supabase, our database provider. Appointment notifications may be sent through Twilio for WhatsApp and Resend for email. We also use Sentry to receive crash and error diagnostics, together with limited device and app context needed to understand and fix faults. These providers process information on our behalf to operate, protect, and improve the service under their own data protections.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. darzi does not use your details to market unrelated products to you. We use only the operational records and limited diagnostics described in this policy to provide, protect, and improve the service. Discretion is the point of darzi, not a setting you have to find. Should any of this ever change materially, we will say so plainly.
Keeping and removing your information
We hold your details for as long as you keep an account and a record of your orders with us. If you would like your information removed, write to us and we will delete it, save for anything we are required to retain.
Your control
You may ask us at any time what we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. We will answer in good faith and without friction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as darzi grows or as the law requires. If we make a material change to how your information is used, we will tell you — within the app or by writing to you — before that change takes effect, so the choice to continue remains yours.
